MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATIONAL TEAM
The Mental Health Educational Team of Mental Health Students Association of Ghana – College of Health, Kintampo (MEHSAG –CoHK) is a team established to promote mental health in Kintampo, its environs and Ghana at large.
The core duty of the educational team is to educate people on mental health and related issues, reduce stigma and to increase the patronage of mental health services.

DUTIES/ACTIVITIES OF THE EDUCATIONAL TEAM
Educate people about behaviors that promote mental health wellness.
Develop programs, materials, and events to teach people about mental health.
Educate people about the importance and availability of mental healthcare services.
Help people find mental health services or information
Advocate for improved mental health resources and policies that promote mental health
Conduct outreach programs
Assess the mental health needs of the people in the community.
Teach people how to manage existing mental health conditions
Discuss mental health concerns with community members
Advocate for individual and community mental health needs.
